摘要：

I will first introduce the Yamabe problems on compact Riemannian manifolds and discuss a PDE uniqueness result of Bidaut-Veron and Veron and its implications for type I Yamabe problem. I will formulate a conjecture for type II Yamabe problem and discuss some partial results.

报告人简介：

Xiaodong Wang is a professor of Mathematics at Michigan State University. He works in geometric analysis and PDE. He has published about 40 papers in various research journals including Inventions, JDG, Duke, CPAM etc.
